The RRB ALP Exam is administered by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) in order to select applicants for Assistant Loco Pilot positions. The online application process for RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 will be started from 20th January 2024 and last day to apply is 19th February 2024.

RRB ALP CBT 1 Exam Pattern

  • 1 mark for each question for total 75 marks. Incorrect answer has negative marking of 0.33 marks.
  • Minimum pass percentage for eligibility: UR & EWS – 40%, OBC (NCL) – 30%, SC – 30%, ST – 25%.

  • Incorrect answer has negative marking of 0.33 marks.
  • In Part -A, Minimum pass percentage for eligibility: UR & EWS – 40%, OBC (NCL)- 30%, SC – 30%, ST – 25%.
    Only the marks scored in Part-A shall be counted for shortlisting of candidates for further stages of this recruitment process provided the candidate irrespective of community is able to secure qualifying marks (35%) in Part-B.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test RRB ALP

Only those applying to be assistant loco pilots will be required to take the computer-based aptitude test. At this point, there won’t be any negative marking. To be eligible, a person must receive at least 42 marks in each “test of batteries”. There is no relaxation at this point selection stage.
