North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), a Schedule ‘A’ “Mini Ratna” CPSE, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. Established in 1976, NEEPCO has been a leading power generation company in the North Eastern Region of India, known for its significant contributions to tapping the region’s vast power potential. NEEPCO Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria

1. Executive Trainee (Electrical/Mechanical)
– Grade: E-2
– Post Code: HR/34
– Vacancies: 16 (11 UR, 4 SC, 1 ST)
– Upper Age Limit: 30 years (UR), 35 years (SC/ST)
– Qualifications: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE/BSc. Engg. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates must have qualified in GATE 2024.

2. Executive Trainee (Finance)
– Grade: E-2
– Post Code: HR/259
– Vacancies: 6 (4 UR, 2 EWS)
– Upper Age Limit: 30 years
– Qualifications: Must have passed the final exam of CA (conducted by ICAI) or CMA (conducted by ICMAI).

3. Executive Trainee (Human Resources)
– Grade: E-2
– Post Code: HR/159
– Vacancies: 2 (1 UR, 1 EWS)
– Upper Age Limit: 30 years
– Qualifications: Graduate with full-time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in relevant fields with at least 65% marks. Candidates must have appeared in UGC-NET 2023 (December cycle) and secured at least 40% marks in both papers.

 

NEEPCO Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in the IDA pay scale of ₹50,000-3%-1,60,000/-. The total monthly emoluments will include basic pay, DA, HRA, Cafeteria allowance, Location-Based Allowance, Provident Fund contribution, and other benefits as per company rules, amounting to approximately ₹94,350.

Training and Placement
Selected candidates will undergo one year of training at various locations of NEEPCO. Upon successful completion, they will be placed in E-3 Grade and may be posted across different projects/offices of the corporation in India.

NEEPCO Selection Process

The selection process includes the following steps:
1. Scrutiny of Online Applications
2. Personal Interviews for shortlisted candidates
3. Merit-based selection, giving 80% weightage to GATE/CA/CMA/UGC-NET scores and 20% to personal interview performance.
