IIM Bangalore provides BBA program so in total 3 IIMs that provide BMS/BBA program.
IIM Kozhikode BMS Eligibility
If you’re planning to apply for the BMS program at IIM Kozhikode, here’s what you need to know:
You should have completed your Class 12 or have a diploma after ten years of schooling, from any stream that’s recognized by the Government of India.
Also, make sure you have all your original mark sheets and certificates ready because you’ll need to submit them by August 1, 2025.
When it comes to selection, it’s not just about one thing — they’ll look at your past academic records, how you perform in the entrance test, and how you do in the personal interview.
IIM Kozhikode BMS Entrance Test
Now, about the entrance test — you’ll have to appear for the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test (IIMK BMS AT) 2025.
This test checks you on two things: Verbal Ability and Quantitative Ability.
It’s a computer-based test (yep, MCQ style) and will happen at specific centers decided by IIMK.
Who Can Skip the Entrance Test?
Here’s some good news if you already have a valid score in JEE (Main), SAT, or ACT — you don’t have to give the IIMK BMS Aptitude Test!
If you have any of these scores, you’ll be shortlisted based on them. Just make sure you submit your official test scores when you apply.
IIM Kozhikode BMS Admission Process
Once you meet the eligibility criteria, IIM Kozhikode will prepare a shortlist for the Personal Interview (PI) based on something called an Aggregate Index Score (AIS).
This score takes into account your entrance test performance, your Class 12 or Diploma marks, and your Class 10 marks. So basically, your overall academic performance plus your test score will decide whether you get shortlisted.
What Happens in the Personal Interview?
If you’re shortlisted, you’ll be called for a Personal Interview (PI).
The interviews will be held in seven cities — Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, and New Delhi — and the whole process will take about half a day (either in the morning or afternoon).
During the interview, a panel will chat with you for around 15 minutes. They’ll assess things like:
-
Your academic efforts and mindset
-
Your general awareness and social attitude
-
Your overall attitude and personality
-
Your communication skills
-
And most importantly, whether you’re a good fit for the program
So, it’s not just about bookish knowledge — they’re looking at you as a whole person.

How the Final Selection Happens at IIM Kozhikode BMS?
After the interviews are done, IIM Kozhikode will calculate a final score for each candidate.
This score will be a mix of your PI performance, your entrance test scores (or standardized test scores if you were exempted), and your academic performance.
Based on these final scores, a merit list will be made separately for each category.
Admission offers will then go out based on this merit list — and yes, the whole process follows the Government of India’s reservation norms.

Like all Central Educational Institutions (CEIs), IIM Kozhikode follows the official reservation policy.
Reservation is available for the following categories:
-
Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) – NC-OBC
-

-
Scheduled Tribe (ST)

Also, if you’re part of any international exchange programs, study tours, industry visits, projects, or internships, the costs for those are not included in the main fee and will be charged separately.
