MICA Admissions Test 2025
MICAT 2025 exam is conducted by Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad(MICA) for its flagship PGDM program in Communication(PGDM-C) and regular PGDM. MICA was established in 1991 and is known in India for Strategic Marketing & Communication.

MICAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have completed graduation
- The candidates in final year of graduation students can also apply.
- The candidates must have a non-zero score in any one exam from CAT, XAT or GMAT to appear for MICAT exam
MICAT 2025 Application Fee is Rs. 1985
MICAT 2025 Exam Pattern
The MICAT has 3 sections – Psychometric, General, Descriptive.
- Section A – Psychometric Test – 30 minutes
- Section B – Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, General awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking – 1 hours 45 minutes
- Section C – Descriptive Test – 30 minutes
The exam duration is of 2 hours 45 minutes
Section A – Psychometric Test
- 150 questions are to be attempted in 30 minutes
- There is no Negative marking
- It is important to answer all questions in the Psychometric section
- The unattempted question will be allotted 0 mark
Section B
- 100 questions that are MCQ format – multiple-choice questions
- +1 mark for the correct answer, -0.25 marks for an incorrect answer

Section C – Descriptive Test
Example – ‘Public opinion is vital for policymaking’ – Present 3 arguments for the statement.

MICAT Selection Process
- The candidates appear for MICAT exam
- Shortlisting for Group exercise and Personal interview
- Merit list
*Students qualifying MICAT will be shortlisted for GE-PI i.e. Group exercise and Personal interview
Weightage for final selection
- CAT or XAT or GMAT: 20%
- MICAT: 30%
- Group Exercise: 20%
- Personal Interview: 30%

MICAT 2025 Syllabus
The students preparing for CAT exam will not require separate preparation for Section B.

MICAT 2025 Registration
MICA has 2 programs: PGDM-C and PGDM.
- The candidates can opt for PGDM-C and/or PGDM program.
- The candidates who want to opt for both the programs will have to mark the program of their first preference as priority 1 and the second program of second preference as priority 2.
The registration will begin from October 2024. The rest details will be updated after the release of an official document by MICA.
