JBIMS Programs

How can I get admission in JBIMS for MBA?
The admission to Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies is done through the Centralized Admission Process(CAP) – CAP Rounds conducted by CET CELL and Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra.
The process involves the following steps:
- One must give MBA CET exam
- Online Registration on DTE portal (This happens after MBA CET result is out)
- Document Verification at Facilitation Center
- Submission of Online Option Form at Admission Reporting Center
- CAP Rounds (Seat allocation)
- Final Admission process
Is there any GD-PI for JBIMS?
There is no GD-PI for JBIMS MMS selection.
JBIMS Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for JBIMS is not defined separately as the CET Cell controls the admission process. 50% aggregate in graduation for general category candidates and 45% for reserved category candidates.
2 Ways to secure Admissions
- For Maharashtra State(MS) Candidates: MBA CET exam + All India Quota
- For Other than Maharashtra State(OMS) Candidates: All India Quota through CAT/CMAT/MBA CET
Maharashtra students can give MBA CET exam to secure seats through State level seats or they can appear for other MBA entrance exams likes CAT and CMAT to secure seat through All India Quota.
Other than Maharashtra State candidates can secure admission through All India Quota by giving MBA entrance exams like MBA CET, CAT and CMAT
Does JBIMS accept CAT score?
JBIMS doesn’t decide which scores to accept, the deciding body is DTE. CAT score is accepted in CAP rounds but the percentile cut off required is 99.98%ile(All India Quota that accepts CAT, CMAT, CET scores). This percentile is enough to make it to IIMs & other B-schools.
JBIMS Mumbai Fee
The total fees for the MMS course of 2 years is Rs. 6 Lakh.
The accommodation charges are not included in the fees.
JBIMS Seat Matrix
Total intake is 120 seats + 12 EWS seats + 6 TFWS seats
Total seats = 120 + 12 + 6 = 138
The 120 seats are further divided for Maharashtra students(MS) and Other than Maharashtra students(OMS). OMS can apply through the All India Quota that consists of 18 seats. The MS seats are further divided as per different categories. Kindly check the seat matrix given below.
