A total of 322 students were placed in 150 companies. Average salary stood at Rs. 15.21 LPA as compared to Rs. 14.05 LPA offered in 2021. About 58% of the total batch was of engineers followed by 24% of Commerce/BBA and 12% of BSc/BA/MBBS. 39% of the batch was placed in IT & Analytics sector followed by 30% in BFSI, 11% in Consulting, and rest in E-business, Retail, Manufacturing and Others.
The highest salary of Rs. 28.8 LPA was offered in Marketing.

IIM K detailed selection process
Tipani – IIM Kashipur Review
IIM Kashipur was the first new IIM to shift into a permanent campus. Online reviews reflect it as underrated but that’s not the case. Very few institutes declare the job profiles offered in different domain and this IIM is one of them. The placement report clearly reveals the job profiles so one can check the analysis of the same on Indeed or Glassdoor.
The other new IIMs as an option can be IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Trichy, IIM Udaipur, IIM Raipur. One must go through the placement report of each institute and research on location advantage, mentor IIM etc. factors to arrive at any conclusion. Non-IIMs like MICA, DFS DU, DOMS IIT Madras, IMI Delhi, GIM Goa, MDI Murshidabad, etc. can offer an average salary in the range of IIM K but the ultimate decision would come after knowing your area of interest and the job profile you desire.
